Distribution of school supplies to students in Laguna, The Philippines June 23, 2025 by Anne Camille Kurtney VideΓ±a on behalf of 100 Friends

Good day, Sir Marc! Long email ahead. I’m happy to share that my family and I have successfully distributed 60 packs of basic school supplies to students in our community. We initially planned for 50, but by maximizing the budget, we were able to support 10 more students.

Each pack included:

8 notebooks

2 ballpens

2 pencils

1 pack of crayons

Some students and parents were shy to be photographed, and some photos were taken using my mother’s phone, so the quality may not be the best.

The extra 10 packs were personally delivered by my father and me to children we saw working and staying in the streets. Reaching them directly was a moving experience.

Support for poor families and children in Cambodia August 1, 2025 Phnom Penh, Cambodia

With $300 budget, we bought a 50kg bag of rice, a box of instant noodles, and cooking ingredients for a grandmother and her six grandkids who had no food. We also picked up snacks for the kids at Ly An’s school and distributed them as a fun activity. With the remaining funds, we were able to buy school and cleaning supplies for Ly An’s school and add gas to their tuk-tuk.

I’ve attached pictures and receipts of all the items purchased. Please don't use photos that has me in for social and newsletter.

Again, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to do 100 friends work.

20 Mattresses for children in Dhuala orphanage in Merangin, Jambi, Indonesia - Sumatra August 5, 2025

Dhuafa is an orphanage in Merangin, Jambi, Indonesia that provides a safe haven for underprivileged children and those from broken homes.

Dhuafa is more than just an orphanage; it's also a school for children who can't afford education.

100 Friends has had the privilege of supporting Dhuafa on several occasions.

Our first contribution was providing basic necessities like rice, oil, chili peppers, mineral water, and potatoes. We also distributed 100 free meals to the students at Dhuafa.

Now, 100 Friends is donating 20 mattresses to the children at Dhuafa, as many of them didn't have beds and slept on the floor. With this donation, they can now sleep comfortably and share the mattress with their friends.
