Projects and Scholarships in Cambodia with Sreng

Dear Marc, 

As the end of the year is coming soon, I would like to give you some updates about the project here.

Mao Family, 
The family got food support for the first Month and later on her husband get a job as security guard so we use another 80$ to buy the bike cycle for him. with this support the family are getting better. 

Small business support (Goose farm)
The two family that we support doing well, they get more goose and egg so their income increase and the eggs provide them more nutrition. 

Reaksa, 
She is doing well at school, only two more years she will finish high school. 


Samphors Family

Sampors living in Svay Dountey village, Romeas Haek distric, Svay Rieng province, it is 220km from Phnom Penh and just 25km from  Vietnam border, it is a rural area, She the only child in family, she need to work hard to support her parent who are farmer but in Cambodia the life as farmer is not easy

In early 2021 we started support her family by buying 20 goose and 20 ducks for her, now the family have egg to eat every day and be able to sell some goose as well.  This is a good support for her family because now they have something to do make more money for the  family. 

 

In the picture below Samphors’s mother carry two goose. 


For me I am doing fine, it is a little bit difficult in the Covid but that is Ok, it is life. I started fundraising to build the library, it cost 7000$, now I already got 1200$,  I still need a lot but I think I will get it just sooner or later. I am really happy about that. 

Anyway I met a boy who now training to be a primary school teacher and he want to learn English as well but he can not effort to do that so can you help him by providing 60$ a Month for three Month first?

Hello Sir Marc, 


Good day! I already have received the money you have sent to me last day. I claimed it at ML Bogo City branch, because in our town is offline and most of the pawnshops are run out of money that's why, they've advised us to transfer to Bogo branch. 

it's really hard to get money elsewhere here now because the power of electricity is not yet restored. Here are the attachment of some of the photos of the groceries that I bought and the photos before and after of Cebu right now. I bought 1 sack of corn and also some groceries.Thank you so much sir. Kabir Ilwahabi handicapped man in Essaouira, Morocco

This is Kabir Ilwahabi, 40 years old, physically handicapped since birth. He is a father of 2 boys aged 6 and 11. He is married. 

His mother lives with them as well. They all share a room with a rent of 80 Euros ($90) per month. Kabir earns money by begging everyday around the bus station terminal in Essaouira. His daily income is of course not fixed.. 

His wish is one day to have an electrical wheelchair if luck prevails.  100 Friends is supporting him with 1500 dirhams (150 Euros - $170) to make his immediate situation better where he can buy blankets for his kids, medicine and other items. 










 

Nadia Rioui - lady with lymph cancer in Morocco

This is Nadia Rioui, 43, suffering with Lymph gland cancer since 2017. She is undergoing treatment from Mohammed 6 hospital in Marrakesh. 

Nadia is divorced with a 17 years daughter who studies in class 11 in Essaouira. They both live in a rented apartment. 

Nadia does not have a fix job. She waits at the bus station terminal in Essaouira everyday for travelers looking for an hotel room. She earns little commissions from taking people to hotels or private rooms. 

Her income is not fixed. 100 Friends is helping Nadia with 1500 dirhams (150 Euros - $170) which will go towards paying for her traveling cost to Marrakesh for her treatment ( 3 hours from Essaouira).

This month I distributed blankets and grocery items to 12 very poor persons and gave a lady Rs. 700 to buy medicines as she was suffering from anaemia, cough and cold. I went around several villages to distribute. 

Blankets - Rs. 350 
Grocery  - Rs. 300
Medicine - Rs. 700
Transport - Rs. 1200

Total Expenditure - Rs. 9700 ($127)

Projects in Mizoram, India

Dear Marc,   

Hoping you are doing well and i am also fine by the grace of God blessing.  I know that i am not writing for so long due of my busy schedule taking care of different things.  

First is my mom as she got accident,  she felt down on floor inside her room caused her left side leg bone broken and hospitalised for a week and operated in the beginning of september month but shes ok now.  Only she wouldn't able to use her leg yet for walking.   

Secondly,  my school online teaching classes fir 3 days in a week.   

Thirdly,  in between time i can be able working sometimes for our project to helping a needy villagers.  

A brief story of supporting the1st lady photo from attachment is.. Her family was faced home quarantine for a week with 2 kids and her husband also sick. Due of them unable to work for daily labours,  said to me that she got no money for buying her baby cerelac powder for feeding.  So i buy her foods and cerelac powder for her baby. 

Same with 2nd photo i bought them kg. of rice and vegetables. 

The 3rd photo is one of my student,  her name is M. S. Dawngzeli and her whole family members were covid.  So i buy them foods and give them money for their medicine.   

2nd last photo is the same lady whome we provides her a few support in earlier times,  she came and complain of her stomatch and her eyes,  so i buy her a medicines.  Last photo is also my one student,  her family was covid positive along with her and i bought them foods and support them medines.   

Brief report on expenses for project.  

($1 USD = 75 Rupees)

1) Spending for Medicines costs for refugees and villagers approximately around -   8500 rupees  

2) Cash supports to 4 villagers  - 4500

 3) Clothes  - 1500  

4) mobile phone and with its temper glass costs-  22380 

5) Micellinous expenses
