Her husband just passed away, and she works as a cook at a Nasi Padang restaurant with an income of 60,000 IDR or $3.32 USD per a day. She works to support all four of her children on her own. A few days ago, she fell ill, her blood pressure and blood sugar were high, and she missed two days of work. I helped her by giving her groceries and cash. I think that was a huge help.

 This is Ari, we helped him and his mother a few months ago. He is an orphan living with his mother in this small house while selling goods, but unfortunately, due to running out of business capital, his mother can no longer sell and is struggling to buy school supplies for Ari. 

Ari is growing up, and his clothes are almost too small, and his shoes are also damaged. so I decided to buy him a school uniform and new shoes for Rp310,000 ($17.40), as well as cash worth Rp300,000 ($16.84). I gave the cash to his school because I didn't meet his mother at home; she was working and would return in the evening. I met some cute and polite students, and I decided to treat them to snacks, and they were very happy.

This is Mrs. Febriana. She is 37 years old and a widow with 4 children. Her husband just ran off with another woman and left her with her children. She works as a house helper but not as a live-in.Sometimes she works for a day washing clothes and gets paid 30,000 IDR or $1,66 USD per wash.

The other woman is named Dini. She is 17 years old and a 10th grade high school student. She lives withher older brother. They are orphans. They don’t have a father or a mother. Her brother works as a porter at the market. I helped her by giving her basic food supplies and also cash to buy her school books because she will start school tomorrow for the new academic year. She was so happy because she could buy new books and a new school bag. Because her brother is rarely in home, sometimes she sleeps in her neighbor house.
