Money spent on Mr. Sethi Chowdhury for his walker and medicine in the month of February is Rs. 4, 400 (report and photos enclosed in my previous mail dated 17.02.21)

5 Senior Citizens

One Blanket and Grocery (Rice, Dal, Soyabean, Soap, Biscuit, Detergent, Tea leaves and Milk) to 5 senior citizens 

(Rs. 250 blanket + Rs. 380 grocery) Total - Rs. 3,150 ($44 USD)

5 school children

One school bag, school accessories and food kit (Rs. 200 school bag + Rs. 80 school accessories + Rs. 60 food kit) for 5 children - Total - Rs. 1,700 ($24 USD)

Total money spent in February 2021 - 

Rs. 9,250 $128 USD

 Dear Marc,

How are you and your family? I guess you have been waiting expectantly for my February report.....

As you had wanted a brief story of any one beneficiary a month ....

The man in the picture is Mr. Sethi Chowdhury and he is 39 years old. He was working in Kakinara Jute Mill in Howrah as a casual staff. 

One night he started having severe headache and breathing problems and was rushed to the only nearby government hospital and was examined and diagnosed with CT scan of brain and it was found that he had suffered a brain stroke and his left side had become paralysed. 

He has been on treatment since 30.12.20 till date. The doctor prescribed that he could walk with the help of a walker and this is when he approached me for help and some investigation and medicine charges.

Total money spent on Mr. Sethi Chowdhury is Rs. 3,600 on walker and Medicines Rs. 800 

Total - Rs. 4, 400
