Passing it forward in Sumatra, Indonesia September, 22, 2022. We helped some girls with a scholarship. Then they used part of the money we donated to help others, including 63 year old Grandmother Rahma.

Today I visited Rahma's grandmother's house. She was an old grandmother who had a stroke. 

She has been unable to walk for two years, half of his body (right side) is paralyzed. She lives with her daughter. I gave groceries and a little money to Grandma Rahma to buy medicine. 

I said that this assistance was given by my friend from America, she was very happy and moved. She says Thank you so much to both of you Marc And Rupak. She also prays that you are always protected wherever you are...

 Hi Honey!

Here the pictures for 100 Friends that Erica and Roxanne did. Its all for school needed.The boys are 5000 pesos ($88) that was Erica did i just made it together so its only one report.

The Girl she is going to college so we give her 8000 pesos ($140) its all for her uniform and whatever she needs for school. And for transportation. I thought she only needed 4000 Pesos ($70) but when I meet her she needs more so I gave her 8000 ($140).

Then you said I have to give with the families near my sister's home. I gave 1000 Pesos ($18) for each family.

You know honey they are so happy they said thank you very much and when i do 100 Friends it makes me happy also especially when you can help and see them how they appreciate it even a small amount. Its because of you thank you honey

Scholarships for Ami, Ika and Anisa from Sumatra, Indonesia August, 2022

Our colleague Rupak found these 3 young Muslim ladies volunteering at a Hindu temple in Java as guides. Rupak wrote this:

I meant three young women at Prambunan Pemple, They are from Sumatra and they are studying English education and struggling to pay the tuition. All speak very good English are they are kind, they showed me around the temple. I will send more details and I have alot of pics of me and them. If you can help with there school expenses $100 dollars each per semester, total $300. (They each received a $100 scholarship, more coming laster in early 2023).

My family

I am married and have one son. He is 5 years old, he is a good boy and really cares about other people. I am very grateful to have him in my life. And he has just started kindergarten school. but I couldn't drop him off on his first day of school. because I have to do an internship and stay one month in Jogja. it makes my heart so broken and sad. but it's ok all for a better future. I want to thank my husband for helping me in many things such as taking care of the house, taking care of children, working and others.

My College

I am one of the students of English education at Merangin University in Jambi Province.

I am currently undergoing an internship for one month at Prambanan Temple, Yogyakarta.

I am very happy and grateful for this, because here I can meet many people from all over the world and can talk and tell many things with them. And i can practice my english, because i need people to improve my english.

You know what's the most fun thing I've found here? is that I can meet Mr.Rupak from America. It’s really nice to meet you, we talked about many things, about life, about my college and the temple, took photos and videos and walked together. He is a very kind and caring person.

He helped us with our college problems, gave us money to pay for our semesters. he said that this help came from his boss named Mr. Marck Gold. I want to say hi, Hi Mr.Marck. Very nice to meet you, thank you for helping me. I'm very grateful for that. May you always be healthy and happy and all your affairs are eased.

And Mr. Ruv. Thanks to you too. May you always be healthy, protected and happy. your work is very noble. me and my friend are very lucky to have met you, and hope we can meet some other time.

About my college, I'm currently undergoing semester 7 from August to December. At this point, I'm having a bit of trouble with my tuition fees. Because at the beginning of the semester I had to pay as much as IDR 1,650,000 for my internship fees to Jogja. all that money had to be deposited into my campus along with transportation costs for the trip.

Of course the money does not include my living expenses in Jogja. It is very difficult to ask my husband for fees, because my son is also going to start his schooling. But he's always willing to help with my school fees. And I'm very grateful for that.

After one month of internship at Jogja, we will return to campus to continue the next stage. I'm going to be an intern at a school to become an English teacher. And of course it will cost more. That is a number of IDR 650,000. And I also have to pay my semester fees of IDR 2,100,000 and the total is IDR 2,750,000. And that's a lot in my opinion.

A little difficult for me because we have to pay for our lives too, especially for my son. But my husband will strive for it, and God will always help.

And on this day Mr.Marc helped us and gave us money to pay for the semester. I am very lucky today, Thank you very much Mr.Marc and Mr.Rupak. I can't repay your kindness, but God will repay you by giving you more.

      I am the first child in my family, i have one brother and one sister. My brother is in the senior high school and my sister is already finished her school. My mother is a widow she do everything to make us school and happy and she pay for all my school fees.

Now i'm in the college, it's Merangin University and i took the English Education program. I can not deny that college need more money that's why my school fees are in arrears for 1 semester, namely in semester 6, Because i have to go to Jogja to do practice. Go to Jogja it's spent a lot of money than usual, Because we have to pay to campus Rp 1.200.000 and for the transportation 450.000 and it's not include  for house fare and daily needs.

After we finish our practice in Jogja we are in semester 7th so it's start August, end in December. 

And my family have another debt too. So my mother have to struggle for pay it.

I feel really happy and lucky to meet with Mr.Ru because he help me to pay my semester thank you so much Mr. Rupak and Mr. Marc gold 🙏 The money that you gave us is very helpful and my mother is very happy to hear that. And I promise i Will share the money to another one who needed and i Will show you later when i come back to my country.

I hope Mr. Marc and Mr. Rupak always healthy and always help another people in every corner in the world. We love you 😘

And now any hardships in my life

Semester money and KKN money (real work college), this is quite heavy for me, especially my parents, because all are paid at the same time

And now I'm in semester seven

and semester seven will end in december 2022

And only 1 semester left, namely semester 8
