Here goes my February report....
Mita Naskar is a 47 year old woman who lives in Dakshin Barasat (Mastikari) West Bengal, India. She was born physically disabled. She moves around crawling with the help of her hands as her feet are dysfnctional.
She was given a wheelchair by the help of 100 Friends to help her move about easily on the 5th February. She is not able to speak but can hear faintly. Her eagerness to learn how to operate the wheelchair is most evident in the video which reflects her joy for she maybe hopes to venture out unaided now.
Expenditure incurred:-
Wheelchair - ₹10, 200 ($123.55 usd)
Transport - ₹ 700 ($8.48 usd)
Total - ₹10, 900 ($132.08 usd)
