-Until a few months ago Charif was running a jewellery shop which he had to close down due to Covid19 impact on the tourism industry that he heavily relies on.
As the result of great financial difficulties his wife left him with she took his child (10 year old boy) and she has divorced Charif.
In just a few months he lost his business and his family. He now painfully survives by getting commissions from shops owners whenever he can bring tourists to their shops.
Again due to covid restrictions Morocco is closed to the outside world and no tourists are able to visit the Kingdom. This is another big loss for Charif who can't earn at the moment.100 Friends has given him a helping hand with $100 USD that can help him to get by for 2 months.
With $10 dollars he is also able to enroll himself with the Moroccan government to receive an official license number to work as a tourist guide once tourists visit again. He is trying hard to find solutions to his difficult situation.
